This stunning couple and I had the most amazing time capturing these incredible photos for their Engagement Session. We explored Ft. Desoto during Golden Hour and were treated to the most amazing golden light and stunning backdrop. I could not be more thrilled with how these photos turned out! For anyone questioning whether or not to have engagement photos done all I can say is Get Them! These will be images you can treasure forever.
You would never know it from the photos but they were actually nervous when we first started. Neither had done a couples session before and weren't sure what they were supposed to "do". I get this comment so much when I'm doing sessions and my answer is the same for every session type, do what feels natural and comfortable for you! For these two I told them to pretend I wasn't even there and that they were the only two people in the world in that moment. I think that really comes through in these photos, it's an intimate glimpse into their love story and I'm honored to have been the one to capture it.
