From our first messages I knew working with this family would be fantastic. I could not have asked for a more fun, loving, and hilarious group to work with. Being able to capture the first time many members of the family were seeing each other again after years apart was an incredible experience. The location was one of particular importance for this family as it is the place they have gathered for decades to be together, catch up, have fun and relax. Walking around the resort and beautiful Treasure Island Beach with them you could feel the magic of this place that meant so much to them.
We had two goals for this session and I think we were able to achieve them both. First and foremost we had an entire extended family of nearly 20 people to capture and we certainly had fun getting those large group shots. Everyone was so amazing and we worked together to capture some amazing photos. Our next goal was more intimate portraits and immediate family photos towards that perfect golden hour. Those photos are by far my favorite. The love this family has for each other shines through in every photo and I'm so happy I got to be there to witness it.
