wanderlost photography | Hope Branding Session in downtown St. Petersburg, FL
As a small business owner I completely understand the value and need for content to upkeep social media and websites. That's why these branding and marketing sessions are some of my absolute favorite to shoot. Hope runs a popular bookstagram page where she reviews books and discusses all things book related with her followers. In order to keep up engagement and continue to attract more followers content is key. For her session we met up at a super cute bookstore to take some classic photos of her browsing.
After spending some time there we went and explored downtown St. Pete and found some amazing murals. I love taking photos in front of murals since they bring a fun and engaging element to the photo that is the perfect attention grabber for social media.
We really worked out exploring all of these murals so stopping for a drink was a must! When possible I love to add photos doing an activity (having a drink, eating ice cream, having pizza, etc.) this adds a fun talking point for your content posts when you want to branch out to a new topic or get to know your followers.
Finally I like to do some headshot style photos either on theme or classic in style. For this session we went with on theme and included a stack of books to tie in the bookstagram element. These shots are perfect for introduction posts which you should do periodically as you gain followers.
By the end of the session we had a gorgeous variety of photos perfect for her branding and marketing needs that are sure to be engaging and eye catching for her target audience. These sessions are an absolute blast and I cannot wait for the next one!
