WANDERLOST PHOTOGRAPHY | Cianciolo MATERNITY SESSION AT Ft. desoto park in st. petersburg, fl
I have had the honor of capturing this sweet family for years. From Mom's maternity session with big brother to this maternity session for little sister it has been amazing watching their little family grow. When we first started planning this session we knew we had to pick a location that was extra special for their newest little one. Big brother's maternity session was at a Disney resort so this little princess needed a special place all her own! We decided on Ft. Desoto an absolutely gorgeous backdrop for any session but the absolute perfect spot for high drama maternity shots. This location was sentimental to the family making it extra special for the shoot.
This particular visit came after several days of rain which made for a particularly buggy experience that even my tried and true bug spray had difficulty contending with! Since it was so buggy we avoided some of my favorite shooting locations but did manage to get some absolutely stunning shots on the beach which while still buggy was less intense than the grassy areas. Despite the mosquitos that wanted to carry us away we captured the high drama that only Ft. Desoto can offer, particularly when the sun began to set.
As gorgeous as some of the sunset shots were some of my absolute favorites from the session featured some stunning displays of water crashing on the rocks! For a maternity session that will wow and make for beautiful and lasting memories I definitely recommend Ft. Desoto <3
