wanderlost photography | Lena Cake Smash Session at Indian Rocks Beach, FLorida
This session was so much fun! Lena's parents came all the way from Wyoming to have her first birthday milestone photos taken! While they wanted to beach as the backdrop for their family photos, Lena's cake smash theme was Winnie the Pooh. I just knew we needed a more woodsy backdrop for the cake smash and we found the cutest little park right across from the beach! The mangroves and fence line provided the perfect backdrop for her cake smash and gave us the shade we needed to keep her cool and happy for cake time.
Her mom brought some beautiful vintage Winnie the Pooh stuffies from her newborn session to incorporate into this session. I love including props in my sessions and we found the perfect spot on the boardwalk to bring them in. Mom and Dad were so happy with all of the smiles and giggles I was able to get during our session and we had the best time taking these.
